He is a committed development practitioner, youth leader, and community advocate working in the coastal region of Bangladesh, particularly in Shyamnagar, Satkhira.

He holds a Master’s degree (MA) in Bangla, has studied Disaster Management from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), and Law from National University, Bangladesh. His academic background combines humanities, legal knowledge, and disaster resilience, which strengthens his multidimensional approach to development work. With a strong focus on climate justice and sustainability, he actively promotes Nature-based Solutions (NbS) to address environmental challenges in vulnerable coastal communities. His work emphasizes community rights, local empowerment, and policy advocacy to ensure inclusive and equitable development. Under his leadership, CEDIO has implemented impactful initiatives on women empowerment, youth leadership development, biodiversity conservation, waste management, and disaster risk reduction. He is also engaged in journalism and local leadership, playing a vital role in raising awareness and influencing grassroots-level decision-making. Gazi Al Imran continues to inspire positive change through his dedication to community-driven development, advocacy, and resilience-building in climate-affected areas.
